Is she trying to initiate an affair with my husband?

So my "best friend" who always tells me everything, called my husband to help her and her husband move some things. When her hubby left to take the stuff to their new home, she started up a conversation with my husband about how her and her husband are having problems. She said that they almost split last week and so on. My husband said that he was trying not to get involved and really didn't want to hear it all but she just kept going on and on. So my husband managed to get away. She hasn't spoken of any of this to me and we have spent some time together the last few weeks while I help her pack. I thought they were fine. I have seen women play on men's sympathies before and have an affair with them. I know it sounds like I'm looking too far into this but it just seems so weird. I have never had a reason to feel this way before about her and I'm not generally a jealous person. I just think something else is going on. The only problem she has told me about is that she doesn't want her husband working at his new job because she is afraid that some woman will come onto him. Is she afraid because of the way she feels? Just thought a few opinions would be nice.
