Can police track your computer?

Ok, my this might sound kinda stupid but I made a fake Facebook account of my best friend and added all of his friends, he saw the fake account but doesn't no its me. I'm telling people that he's gay on his account. & I messaged him on the fake account that I gonna upload some naked pictures of you. ( I wouldn't really do that to him, Im just scaring him) If he was scared that I was serious can he call the cops? and if so can the find me?
