Excessive earnings in edd? what does this mean?

received a letter from edd saying that there would be no payments on the weeks i worked because of excessive benefits.. im so pissed!!!! i was under impression that since i worked full-time before and now stuck part-time, i would receive benefits, especially since im not even making close to what i did before.. can anyone explain, if possible.. thanks
