Is Ed, Edd, n Eddy a metaphor for purgatory?

No. I've heard it said before (most likely in jest) because no one in the show grows up, even though it went on for about ten years. Alas, I am spiralling in a world of agelessness and independence, but I doubt any of it is a purposeful metaphor for purgatory. Haha, good question.
